New Otter Exhibit -
River Basin Retreat
Now Open !
The Zoo's latest permanent exhibit, River Basin Retreat, approximately
1,200 square feet in size features an 8,000 gallon above-ground pool.
It's
made from clear acrylic panels. Inside the new pool, replicas of river banks
provide the otters with places to rest above the water and serve as
“diving boards” when they jump into the pool. Be sure to
bring your camera!

The Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival also will feature
children’s activities in the HUGE AT&T The Real
Yellow Pages Kids Zone and free boat rides in the
lake. While you’re here, take in a live
entertainment both Friday and Saturday by Still
Cruzin’ Beach Band who will take the stage Aug. 29,
and Clay Brown and the Legend Band, The Flashbacks
and many more appear live Aug. 30 presented by
Withers Preserve and the Market Common. Blankets,
lawn chairs, clapping, smiling and dancing are
strongly encouraged!
All the fun is located on the former Air Force Base
South of the Airport.
